I used Mounteney in the purchase of my flat recently. Anna was very friendly, helpful and proactive. Whenever I had a query she was contactable and she was clear in her communication. All correspondence from her side was dealt with promptly. An excellent service.
I am nothing but impressed with the service that Mounteney have provided to me. Specifically Ian McKenna at the Heald Green branch. I obtained a simple fixed fee quote (with entirely predictable disbursements) for a conveyancing process. A few niggles cropped up but Ian advised me through these additional pitfalls and engaged in additional correspondence with the other party's solicitor, without any mention of additional costs. So the highly competitive and surprisingly low fixed fee costing was honoured and the process was streamlined and crystal clear throughout. What was most impressive was that while the other party's solicitor found cause to create significant week long delays in taking action, each time that they contacted Mounteney, then I had an email within hours.Once I had signed then the transfer was complete before I had driven home.If you are looking for absolutely clarity and a streamlined process, then if my experience is anything to go on, you will be in safe hands.I am happy to strongly recommend their service. 5 stars from me!!

ID1 Form Certification for HM Land Registry

If you are handling a property matter yourself and need to submit documents to HM Land Registry, our solicitors can help by verifying and endorsing your ID1 form to meet their identity requirements.

When individuals submit applications without a solicitor or conveyancer, HM Land Registry requires them to prove their identity using an ID1 form. This process is designed to reduce the risk of fraud and ensure that all transactions are properly validated.

While it is often easier and more cost-effective to instruct a conveyancer to manage the transaction from start to finish, we understand that some clients prefer to handle matters independently. If you only need help certifying your identity, we’re happy to assist with that part of the process.

To complete your ID1 verification, simply bring your completed form to one of our offices, along with a passport-style photograph and your current passport. We’ll complete the endorsement and confirm the certification directly with HM Land Registry when required.

This service is offered by appointment to ensure prompt assistance and avoid delays in your submission.

To arrange your ID1 certification, contact your nearest Mounteney Solicitors office in Bramhall, Cheadle or Heald Green. We’ll confirm the documents you need and book a convenient time for your visit.
