Mounteney, and especially Anna Beavers, provided excellent service and were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process, providing clear guidance/instructions/advice at every juncture. I am nothing but impressed with the service that Mounteney have provided to me. Specifically Ian McKenna at the Heald Green branch. I obtained a simple fixed fee quote (with entirely predictable disbursements) for a conveyancing process. A few niggles cropped up but Ian advised me through these additional pitfalls and engaged in additional correspondence with the other party's solicitor, without any mention of additional costs. So the highly competitive and surprisingly low fixed fee costing was honoured and the process was streamlined and crystal clear throughout.What was most impressive was that while the other party's solicitor found cause to create significant week long delays in taking action, each time that they contacted Mounteney, then I had an email within hours.Once I had signed then the transfer was complete before I had driven home.If you are looking for absolutely clarity and a streamlined process, then if my experience is anything to go on, you will be in safe hands.I am happy to strongly recommend their service. 5 stars from me!!

Our clients often want us to store their documents for them.

Our Wills and LPA services include the permanent storage of relevant Wills or LPA’s.

Our regulators require us to store most of our paper files for at least 6 years (10 years for CLC-regulated Purchase files) – after which they will be destroyed; see clause 27 of our T’s & C’s, for more details.

This product is for when our clients wish us to retrieve their historical file we still hold from our storage facility, and to extract anything from that file to send them.

How long will it take?

We don’t generally do anything for new clients until our process of client retention has concluded – this involves agreeing the scope of what we are doing for the price (our terms are below), setting-up our client record, and producing the bill (payment in advance is required for all new clients).

Money Matters

Your supplier is unregulated Mounteney Legal Services Limited, that does not charge VAT

We charge £50 for Retrieving historical files from our storage facility.
