Description

Our clients often want us to store their documents for them.

Our Wills and LPA services include the permanent storage of relevant Wills or LPA’s.

Our regulators require us to store most of our paper files for at least 6 years (10 years for CLC-regulated Purchase files) – after which they will be destroyed; see clause 27 of our T’s & C’s, for more details.

This product is for when our clients wish us to retrieve their historical file we still hold from our storage facility, and to extract anything from that file to send them.

How long will it take?

We don’t generally do anything for new clients until our process of client retention has concluded – this involves agreeing the scope of what we are doing for the price (our terms are below), setting-up our client record, and producing the bill (payment in advance is required for all new clients).

Money Matters

Your supplier is unregulated Mounteney Legal Services Limited, that does not charge VAT

We charge £50 for Retrieving historical files from our storage facility.
